...snow everywhere! The planned day of furniture moving has been delayed. The day looks like being a day in the house painting, playing cars and watching tv. Hopefully it will be gone by the morning and we can all get to work safely. The forecast for more heavy snow later in the week isn't helpful though!
The local body shop has had my car today to sort out the dropping bumper. They have done it but it took them 5 hours. They look like they should do now. Whether Ford will give me any money back is another matter.
Not seen a lot of my new car yet. This week it has been to polar for a glow plug light warning. Turned out to be the EGR value which was the problem. Polar 'managed' to cover 95% of the costs so i only paid £11.08. Not bad!
Well for starters the dials should be white! Also the rev counter only goes up to 5000. And it's telling me that i can get over 400 miles from one tank full. That's the beauty of the black stuff. Have had a bit of a run in with Polar over the dropping rear bumper. They want over £800 to fix it. I went to the local body shop today with the info about the foam supports and hopefully they'll fit them for me, for a fraction of the costs. The gaps at the back are bad and ideally I want them sorting before the bumper starts to crack which would mean an entire new bumper. Polar have agreed to do the door handle and the boot mechanism under warranty though. They are good aren't they?
