Eddy didn't make it all the way to Grandma's without a little nap.
We are both very disappointed with the pictures from the session with Clive Pickering which we reviewed tonight. Unfortunately he doesn't seem to have captured us especially Eddy on the photos. Shame as we were hoping for much more from the session.
Eddy loves rolling around on the carpet at the moment. He is good at rotating around using his hands and arms and rolling around to get to where he wants to be. Here he has managed to roll himself up in the mat.
After a few hours in The Deep, we walked over the Humber to Streetlife, a small museum about transportation. Although small it was enough to end the day with a different experience. Thomas was a bit disappointed so he felt the need to vent his frustrations through the comments box!
Very busy today at The Deep. The boys still enjoyed it, especially Eddy who was mezmerized by the fish as they swam by in front of him. Thomas enjoyed parts of it but I think the number of people spoilt it for him. Unfortunately the events in the cafe at lunch will stay with us longer than the memories of the visit.
The boys at play.
Been to see Clive Pickering today for Eddy's session from my Dad. Soon we'll have over 200 snaps to choose from! Thought it went well though and Clive is good with children so hopefully we'll have some good shots.
Eddy loves being in the walker shuffling around the kitchen. Tonight he very cleverly collected the oven gloves on his travels.
Yesterday we all went to Kirklees Light Railway. Thomas clearly enjoyed the trip but then again he loves trains! There was a 25 min ride to other station where we had a cup of tea and a large piece of cake and a play in the play area. It was a good change and lovely to spend time as a family. Here are the boys sat on the train.
Eddy is always happy even after a trip to hospital to have him checked over again.
Things have developed quickly today and suddenly. It's been very windy and the fence has fallen down. The secondment has stopped today and I'm back to my old post as of Monday. I have applied to Doncaster Road and feel positive about the future.
The track is up but the cars aren't racing at the moment. More like crawling. Trying to sell this learning to these children is beyond me i think!
