Magna, yesterday.

After what seems like days of rain, we went to Magna for a trip yesterday. It was good. Lots of games on stuff for the boys, not too busy, a bit on the cool side, Eddy and Thomas both liked the water zone the best, I liked the big melt demo. The place is enormous and the machinery very impressive. Tracy wanted to do the zip wire but Thomas won't let her.....

Well impressed.

Back on the DIY front on Saturday, put some shelves in Eddy's wardrobe. It didn't take too long and I was impressed at the final product. Had a few hiccups but I'm the end it was a good job done well. Just have the shed bike storage solution to do. Can't wait..... ;-)

The delight at being told you are going away with your grandparents for a week....

Thomas and Eddy were both pleased to be going away to a caravan for a week with Grandma and Grandad. Unfortunately Eddy was out of shot at the time, but I managed to capture the moment Thomas was told. :-)

How many 3 year olds love their times tables....?

11 x 7 = 77. That's Grandad Rees' age.....that's ridiculous. Another moment of Edward, fascinating!

Sherwood Pines

Made the most of the Bank Holiday today and went for an extended bike ride in Sherwood Pines. We completed the Family Trail which was about 3 miles in an hour with Eddy lasting 10minutes before the new trail gator was put into action. Luckily for me there was a decent bike shop there, because Muppet Me forgot the bolt that connects Eddy's bike to the pole! The shop charged me a pound for a bolt and nut and away we went.  Both boys loved it especially Eddy was refound his sense of balance and he has first unstabilised ride and the red brick road. Only a few seconds but he's nearly there now. Should have it cracked before he's 4!

New car sat nav

When I was deciding which car to get the only thing that I thought the Mazda 6 lacked was a sat nav. For that reason the Insignia looked a better option. Unfortunately it didn't get as good a reviews especially about its driveability. The plan, therefore has always been to buy a sat nav for the 6. Last Sunday found this unit oneBay. Great price, and local. Got it fitted at EMP who seem to do a good job, recommended by John Hall, and all is good. Just need to work out how to use it now. :-)
