Lovely, if cold at times, day at Yorkshire Wildlife Park with the family today. Been a few years since we've been and it has changed massively. Polar bears, lions, leopards, ostriches to name a few. Lots to see and a good range of walkthroughs and vantage points to see the animals from. Boys were brilliant.
Yes it was cold, very cold today but I really enjoyed my rides to 2 schools in Barnsley. There is definitely something but being on a motorbike that is very appealing, very appealing indeed. My next move is to get my full licence and then a bigger bike like the Yamaha FZS600, pictured, then some serious commuting.
Really enjoyed doing Eddy's homework this week as it allowed us to do some science investigations about snow. It was funny that Eddy thought snow disappeared when it melted, but we did a few experiments to discover what really happened.
Eddy's maths ability is still amazing, on Sunday .... Are two 21s 42? 3 minutes later .... Are three 21s 63!!
Thomas has passed all of his times tables tests, and moved up spelling groups, well done son.
After the soft play area on Saturday we all ate out at Centertainment in Sheffield. The boys have well and it was great that we all enjoyed both the food and the company. Eddy and Thomas had fun sucking icecream through 2 straws.
After another leak in the loft, don't worry it only happens once every 10 years and a massive thank you to Stuart for helping fix it again, being in the now slightly tidier loft make me think about extending the space up there. BandQ supply these packs and they would seem to do the job. 3 for £20 that's get started. Can't wait.
