Tough day at school.

Thomas had a tough day at school and fell asleep before he even left the car park.

Formula milk

Thomas has just taken formula milk for the first time tonight. I gave it to him and he took it really well, in fact he didn't even bat an eyelid. Both Tracy and I were a little concerned that the taste might be different and he might reject it. This will mean that, as long as there are no side effects, we have a lot more freedom with feeding Thomas now. Also hopefully this will mean that our bedtime routine can return to the fun enjoyable time that it was a week ago. Well done Thomas - Keep up the good work:-).

At New Miller Dam

Went for a walk around the dam today. Thomas slept from half way round and through the off road section!

STOMP

Another great performance from STOMP at the Lyceum. We had great seats second row in the stalls. You could really get a sense of the energy and power that the performers put into the show.

Another day...

Thomas decided not to take much from the bottle today. He will soon learn that it isn't who gives him the bottle that is important but what is in it!

On the bottle

Thomas has been re-introduced to the bottle and taken to it really well. He even seems to be able to feed himself!

Bird watching

Thomas meets some birdies

At Cawthorne Park Thomas was introduced to some geese and ducks. He was fascinated by them.

Rock your socks off!

Thomas has found a new way to get his socks off! Good coordination needed here I think. Also today he has taken milk from the bottle for the first time in ages.

BETT 2008

Bathtime

Whilst I am standing cramped up on a train back from London, Thomas is splashing about in his bath. I know where I would rather be.
All trains out of Kings Cross have been delayed because power cables have come down. The train is completely full, aisles and seats. BETT was good made some good contacts. Hopefully these will lead to successful projects.

First meal.

Thomas has been introduced to new foods today. He has had some rice and really enjoyed it. Won't be long before he is on pizzas and curries!

New things

Thomas is discovering new things all of the time. 2 weeks ago he was continually sucking his bottom lip. This fad has now past, although he still does it when he is tired, and a new one started. The thing to do this week is stick his tongue out all of the time!

After his Christmas illness it is good to see him playing, laughing and sounding better. Unfortunately Tracy has been very poorly (stomach bug and lack of sleep) over the past week so 2008 has not had the best start to it.
